Some brief highlights:
The Woman Leadership Conference, 2016 Edition, was moderated by Roxana Dobrescu (Senior HR Manager AVON Romania&Moldova), with the Awards Gala presented by Constantin Trofin (TV Host) and Nina Moldovan (CEO Liberty Technology Park). The event took place on March 10th at the Grand Hotel Italia in Cluj-Napoca.
The Woman event comprised three sessions:
A workshop-dedicated session with topics including "Business Model You: redesigning your value as an entrepreneur" by Oana Țoiu, Social Entrepreneur Mesteshukar ButiQ&Founder Social Innovation Solutions, "Stress Management – how to reduce stress and balance your life" by Loana Comșa, psychological counselor, and coach, and "Lifestyle Strategy" by Larisa Petrini, Health Coach reLife.
The speakers for the edition included:
- Amalia Sterescu, who captivated the audience by posing a simple question "Who are you?" and presenting a short film.
- Oana Marinescu (Founder & Managing Director OMA VISION), Maria Metz (Senior Vice President EBS Romania & NTT Data Company), Daniela Budurea (Country Director Western Union Romania & Bulgaria), Cristina Săvuică (Country Manager Lugera), and Raluca Michailov (General Director, BP Publishing Media), discussing "Women make a difference in business." They illustrated the multiple roles of a female leader and outlined a day in the life of such a woman.
- The theme of "Personal Branding" was addressed by Paula Herlo (Senior Correspondent and Producer "Romania Te Iubesc!"), Monica Bîrlădeanu (actress & entrepreneur), and Ștefana Cazan (Sales & Marketing Manager Romania Maxx Royal), covering authenticity, social responsibility, and the importance of social media.
- The session concluded with Maia Morgenstern (Director Jewish State Theatre), emphasizing teamwork and trust, stating that "everything is about getting into the game."
Additional speakers included Stela Toderașcu (Commercial Marketing Manager, Avon Romania&Moldova) discussing connection in the world of women and Oana Delia Radu (Group Retail Director Cluj, Raiffeisen Bank) talking about confidence in one's business.
