The 2014 edition of The Woman Conference took place on March 7th at Grand Hotel Italia, Cluj-Napoca. Among the distinguished speakers were:

Rucsandra Hurezeanu, founder and CEO of Ivatherm, who has won numerous awards throughout her career, including Entrepreneur of the Year, Business Champions, and the Innovation Award (Forbes Magazine).

Simona Baciu, founder and president of an innovative education system, recognized nationally and internationally: Transylvania College, the first Boarding School in Romania and Eastern Europe (following the English system) with two study lines: Romanian and Cambridge International.

Manuela Ciugudean, PR Manager Central and Eastern Europe at Intel Corporation, a global leader in computer industry innovation.

Monica Jitariuc, Managing Director at The Practice, with over 12 years of experience in marketing and communication.

Iren Arsene, Managing Partner at Curtea Veche Publishing, decorated in 2012 with the King Michael I Medal for Loyalty.

Mirela Bucovicean, with a career spanning advertising, television, print media, real estate, and e-commerce, proudly owning the “Molecule-F” project.

Violeta Ciurel, President and CEO of AXA Asigurări România, also holding the position of President of the Supervisory Board at AXA Insurance Hungary since 2012. Violeta is actively involved in Junior Achievement Romania projects, an international organization aiming to help schools and students.

Smaranda Buduru, Managing Partner at Stomestet, primary dental doctor, Ph.D. in medical sciences, head of the Dental Prosthesis Department at UMF Cluj-Napoca.

Mădălina Bălan, specialized in organizational psychology, psychologist, Senior Consultant, and Managing Partner at HART Consulting.

Amalia Năstase, CEO & Founder of Eventures, founded the media and advertising agency in 2008, focusing on organizing top events for internationally renowned clients.

Andreea Raicu, perceived as a “fashion icon,” a promoter of style and good taste in clothing, with diverse involvement in fashion-related projects.

Cristina Popa, leading Fashion Days for over 2 years, contributing daily to the success story of the largest online fashion retailer in Romania, part of the Naspers group since 2012.

Oana Luca, Founder and Manager of Eurocount & Audit, Luca & Luca Mediators Office Associates, currently a mediator, expert accountant, financial auditor, tax consultant, and insolvency practitioner.

Adriana Lobda, partner at Deloitte, coordinates the regional Deloitte office in Cluj-Napoca, with extensive experience in financial audit.
