Ioana Olăhuț is an artist and the director of the Painting Department at the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca, being the first female faculty member in the nearly 100 years of the chair’s existence.
Ioana divides her artistic work between painting, scenography, and installation and confesses that her works say absolutely everything about her. She doesn’t create art just for the aesthetic value of her works but creates each time with the desire to convey something, and she finds inspiration everywhere, with only one condition – that something must intrigue her.
